Acrylic Art Class Barn Owl
Sat March 13
10:00 am to 12:30 pm
Instructor: Jim G
Step by step instruction of BARN OWL IN ACRYLICS
The Barn Owl is a bird both beautiful and helpful to farmers by eliminating rodents that eat their grains. Unfortunately, the Barn Owl has been extirpated in SW Ontario but can be found in other parts of the province. I photographed this one at a raptor rescue centre.
Canvas, acrylic paints in specific colours, brushes, template, reference photo, palette, pencil, and paper towel.
You will also need an old shirt or apron to protect your clothes, a water container, and a newspaper to put under your canvas to protect your work area. You can also use a blow dryer to speed up the drying time between layers, though it's not necessary.
